I'm Hannah.

I'm an editor and writer based in the UK.

Currently, I work as a Features editor and writer at CBR, and a regular contributing writer to WatchMojo and Ranker.

I specialise in writing about pop culture and entertainment. I have a broad range of knowledge (and enthusiasm) about comics books films, TV and animation, and a lot of things to say about all of them. I also have a keen interest in where pop culture and identity politics meet.

About me

What I do

Since graduating with a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art and Creative Writing from Lancaster University, I've thrown myself into a bunch of creative projects; everything from illustration to podcasting to blogging. From 2012 onwards, I've produced a huge variety of written content for different clients - from listicles and long-form essays to video scripts, all feeding into my love of consuming art and pop culture. You can check out who I've worked with further below.

I'm also an aspiring fiction writer - I'm currently working on two books.

What I'm into

Like Liam Neeson, I have a very specific set of [interests], most of which branch out from an adolescent love of Batman comics, vampire fiction, Pokemon on the GameBoy, and choosing anime DVDs from my local HMV based solely on how cool the cover looked. If you too enjoy quoting obscure lines from old seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race and Brandan Fraser's Mummy movies we can definitely be friends.
